The Flowers Direct Relay Network

We currently partner with an 800 strong UK network of florists. That’s enough florists to ensure UK coverage, but not too many so we can ensure there is not too much overlap between competing individual florists in any area. In recent years, we’ve been the fastest growing of all UK Relay Networks – and we want to keep it that way.

We still have one or two locations where we would like to increase coverage, however, so if you are interested in partnering with us then you have come to the right page!

Every day, our members benefit from excellent sending commission rates, together with a friendly and efficient service. Our strength in order generation is through the internet - and our efficient marketing efforts have generated more than a million satisfied customers in recent years. That’s a lot of business generated for our members!

While we do send some flowers out through central distribution, and are open and honest about this, the vast majority of bouquets are transmitted to members. Our boxed service is to enable us to compete at price points that independent florists aren’t interested in (once having paid a relay levy) and to ensure we can fulfill orders that florists occasionally ‘reject’ due to lack of stock, etc. Visitors often arrive at our website interested in the lower price points, but then upgrade to a better, member line once they see the quality they can get with such a choice.

We’ve recently invested a very large six figure sum improving our back office system for members – and our front end website for customers too. This large investment in our technology is designed to ‘futurise our enterprise’, and is typical of our go ahead attitude that will ensure we are a real force in Relay in the 21st Century.
